Porcelain dessert plates with modern Delft Blue design

A beautiful Delft Blue inspired porcelain dessert plate with an intricate papercut design of Delft Blue inspired flowers and true-to-nature peacock.

The original papercut design for this plate was inspired on Delft Blue; the traditional flowers that you may find in Delft Blue ceramics are incorporated in the design. As I love birds and as they are featured often in Delft Blue, I couldn’t resist to have some birds in the design as well. But this peacock is cut true to nature, which makes the design feel more modern Delft Blue.
The papercut was then used for the screenprints which are hand positioned onto the porcelain. A very meticulous job and very well done in this case.

A few facts:
• The plate has a 16,5 cm. (6,5”) diameter and is slightly curving up around the edges.
The plate is made of high-quality white baking porcelain.
• They are dishwasher-safe, because the image on the porcelain is baked at such high temperature that the image is sealed.
• The papercut design has a navy blue colour on the white porcelain.
• The bottom of the plate shows the logo of the manufacturer and Whispering Paper.
